Anemia is a health issue among adolescents that negatively impacts their productivity in daily activities. One contributing factor is a lack of knowledge regarding the importance of iron supplements; therefore, this community service initiative aimed to increase adolescents' knowledge and awareness of the significance of these supplements. The activity was conducted at the Baitul Makmur Islamic boarding school in Wonokromo, Surabaya, with 25 participants. The program focused on strengthening health literacy through interactive education, discussions, and evaluations using pre-tests and post-tests. Evaluation results showed an increase in knowledge from 20% in the pre-test to 84% in the post-test. This initiative is expected to improve health literacy, enabling adolescents to understand the importance of anemia prevention and fostering the awareness to take independent preventive measures.
