Penguatan Kapasitas Manajerial BUMDes melalui Pendampingan Penyusunan Model Bisnis Berbasis Potensi Lokal

Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) play an important role in rural economic development but often face challenges in managerial capacity and organizational governance. This community service program aimed to strengthen the managerial capacity of BUMDes administrators through assistance in developing a local potential-based business model. The program involved 20 administrators and managers of BUMDes Babar Arta, Purworejo Village, Wonogiri Regency. A Community Development (Comdev) approach with Participatory Action Research (PAR) principles was employed through needs assessment, workshops, mentoring, and evaluation. The results showed improved participants' understanding of management functions, organizational governance, and local potential-based business development. The program also enhanced communication and commitment among administrators to improve BUMDes management. Overall, the program contributed to strengthening the institutional capacity of BUMDes in supporting sustainable rural economic development.
