The research method applied is a literature review with thematic analysis techniques applied to various recent academic literature and industry reports. The discussion revealed that upskilling and retraining are not only efforts to enhance competency, but also strategic instruments for maintaining individual productivity and career sustainability amidst disruption. Additionally, the synergy between agility, resilience, and responsiveness, supported by a strong network, has been shown to improve accessibility to training opportunities and facilitate faster career transitions. The conclusion of this research confirms that career management oriented toward a lifelong learning mindset is key to transforming the threat of automation into an opportunity for sustainable professional growth.
