Peningkatan Kompetensi Guru Anak Usia Dini melalui Pelatihan Pendidikan Seks sebagai Upaya Perlindungan Diri Anak

This community service research aims to analyse the improvement of early childhood teachers' competence through sex education training as a preventive measure for child self-protection in Bandar Lampung. Utilizing a participatory and andragogical approach, the study involved Aisyiyah early childhood teachers selected via purposive sampling over a six-month period encompassing observation, pretest, seminars, training, workshops, and post-test. Data were analysed descriptively and through non-parametric inferential statistics using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. The results and discussion reveal a substantial increase in teachers' understanding and pedagogical competence regarding early childhood sex education. The average score increased from 85.37 on the pretest to 95.60 on the post-test, reflecting a 10.23-point gain. Furthermore, the proportion of teachers categorized with "very high" understanding rose from 74.07% to 96.29%. The non-parametric statistical analysis yielded a Z-value of -3.948 with a significance level of Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) < 0.001, confirming a statistically significant difference between pretest and post-test scores
