Abstract

The Elderly Resilient School (Sekolah Lansia Tangguh/SELANTANG) program, designed based on an elderly-friendly approach, was developed as an empowerment strategy through health education, stimulation activities, health screening, and cadre assistance. This community service program aimed to improve elderly health indicators through the implementation of an elderly-friendly SELANTANG program. The program involved 50 older adults over four months (May–August 2026) in Mlaten Village, Puri District, Mojokerto Regency, Indonesia. Activities included needs assessment, health education, cadre training, screening for non-communicable disease risk factors, physical activities, emotional-spiritual stimulation, educational games, and pre- and post-intervention evaluation. The results showed changes in systolic blood pressure from 137.90 mmHg to 132.06 mmHg, diastolic blood pressure from 83.24 mmHg to 79.22 mmHg, and blood glucose levels from 158.02 mg/dL to 152.02 mg/dL. The program also produced elderly learning modules, cadre modules, elderly worksheets, educational games, an integrated risk-factor screening registration form, and SELANTANG uniforms.
